What is included with your rock oil candles? All rock oil candle lamps include an oil starter set which contains a small bottle of ultra-pure paraffin oil, a mini funnel for filling and candle filling instructions.
How do I fill my new oil candle lamp? Pull the wick and glass wick tube out together. Try not to separate to keep wick from fraying. Insert the mini funnel into hole in top of rock. Use provided oil to fill glass reservoir up about 3/4 of the way. Re-insert glass wick tube and wick. Let soak for about 30 seconds. Adjust wick so it’s less than 1/4 inch or less above lip of the glass tube. Wipe off any oil that may have been dripped on to the surface of the candle. Light and enjoy!
Why is the flame so high on my oil candle? You can control the height of the flame by the length of the wick. The shorter the wick from the top of the glass wick holder the smaller the flame, about 1/4 inch or less showing.
Can I get a replacement glass tube and wick? Please contact us if you need a replacement.
How can I order more Ultra-Pure Paraffin Oil? Clean lamp oil can be ordered from Amazon or purchased from online retailers.
What if my candle lamp or candle holder is damaged during shipping? Occasionally, an oil lamp will become damaged from shipping. Please contact us if this occurs for a replacement.
Why do you use fiberglass wicks? Fiberglass wicks are long lasting, smokeless and last indefinitely.
How long will my candle burn? The glass reservoir will hold enough oil to last 2-4 hours. Burning time also depends on length of wick and the amount of fuel used.
